数字化转型与绿色出口产品质量升级

摘要: 深入推进数字化转型已成为出口产品质量绿色化升级的重要路径。现有研究充分关注了数字化转型对出口产品质量的作用,但尚无文献研究数字化转型对出口产品质量绿色化升级的影响。文章利用中国2011—2023年地级市面板数据,测度城市数字化转型程度与绿色出口产品质量,并通过双向固定效应模型、空间杜宾面板模型检验数字化转型对绿色出口产品质量的影响及作用机制。研究结果表明,数字化转型对绿色出口产品质量升级具有显著的促进作用,这一结论在经过一系列稳健性检验后依然成立。机制分析表明,数字化转型通过推动产业结构升级和绿色技术创新促进绿色出口产品质量升级。异质性分析表明,数字化转型对绿色发展基础较好的城市、中心城市的绿色出口产品质量升级的促进作用更为明显。进一步研究发现,数字化转型对绿色出口产品质量的提升效果存在空间溢出效应,即本地数字化转型对邻近地区绿色出口产品质量升级具有促进作用。为此,需以数字化转型为抓手,加速产业结构升级与绿色技术创新,同时兼顾区域绿色发展差异,助力绿色出口产品质量整体跃升。

Abstract: The advancement of digital transformation has established it as a crucial pathway for the green quality upgrade of export products. This study utilizes panel data from China's prefecture-level cities spanning 2011-2023 to measure the degree of urban digital transformation and the level of green export product quality. Employing a two-way fixed effects model and the spatial Durbin model, it examines the impact of digital transformation on green export product quality and its underlying mechanisms. The findings reveal that digital transformation significantly promotes the upgrade of green export product quality, a conclusion that holds up after a series of robustness tests. Mechanism analysis indicates that digital transformation drives the upgrade of green export product quality by facilitating industrial structure upgrading and green technological innovation. Heterogeneity analysis reveals that digital transformation exerts a more pronounced effect in cities with stronger green development foundations and central cities. Further findings indicate that the improvement effect of digital transformation on green export product quality exhibits spatial spillover effects. Consequently, leveraging digital transformation as a catalyst to accelerate industrial upgrading and green technological innovation while addressing regional disparities is essential to achieve a comprehensive leap in the green export product quality.
