Abstract: In recent years, under the background of high-quality economic development, the digital economy supported by digital technology has gradually become an important driving force for economic growth. Therefore, the characteristic agricultural product industry chain urgently needs to achieve agricultural quality and efficiency improvement through digital transformation.Based on empirical research using questionnaires related to the characteristic agricultural product industry chain in Southwest China, it was found that the dynamic capability of the chain significantly promotes the digital transformation of the characteristic agricultural product industry chain. Perception ability, capture ability, and transformation ability have significant positive impacts on the upstream, midstream, and downstream of the industry chain. Further research has found that there is heterogeneity in the chain dynamic capability in promoting the transformation of the characteristic agricultural product industry chain, which mainly comes from the level of infrastructure, farmers' training level and digital awareness. The research contribution lies in expanding the inertia argumentation logic of traditional agricultural industry chain transformation and simply discussing transformation, as well as expanding the perspective of dynamic capability research, providing an empirical research approach for the theory of characteristic agricultural product industry chain transformation and dynamic theory.
