Study on the Relationships among the Structural Holes, Outbound Open Innovation and Enterprises' Technological Capabilities

Abstract: As the technology competition is more and more fierce, enterprises are faced with more pressure of new technology commercialization. actively embedded into the innovation network both inside and outside the organization, and implementing external technology commercialization has become an important strategic choice for enterprise to promote technological capabilities. The "Structural Holes" in the innovation network is one of the important factors that affect the enterprises' technological capabilities. This article empirically studied the relationship between "structural holes" and the enterprises' technological capabilities as well as its internal mechanism. It is found that "structural hole" may positively promote technological capabilities, and the outbound open innovation plays a mediating effect.
