The Impact of Global Value Chain on the Consumption Rate of China's Household
ZHANG Shao-jun, FANG Yu-wen, YAN Tian
    2022 (01):  1-12.
    Abstract ( 247 )   PDF (1679KB) ( 891 )
In recent years, with the rise of global value chain, China's household consumption rate has been declining. This paper uses China's provincial panel data to study the impact of global value chain on the consumption rate of China's household. The results show that: Global value chains have a significant inhibitory effect on the consumption rate of China's household. Whether it is from import channel or export channel, global value chain will significantly suppress China's household consumption rate. After subdividing the household consumption rate into urban household consumption rate and rural household consumption rate, the global value chain reduces the consumption rate of rural residents in China even more significantly. In the context of global value chain, promoting capable consumption, daring consumption and willing consumption, and increasing the consumption rate of household are related to whether China can form a new development pattern with the domestic cycle as the main body and the domestic and international cycles promoting each other.

    Abstract ( 243 )   PDF (1640KB) ( 636 )
Government subsidies are an important external resource available in the production process of enterprises. The manufacturing industry occupies a very important position in my country's industrial structure. How to implement government subsidies to effectively improve the production efficiency of manufacturing enterprises requires in-depth research. From the perspective of constructing a new development pattern, this article analyzes the mechanism of government subsidies affecting the production efficiency of enterprises, empirically explores the role of government subsidies in promoting the production efficiency of enterprises, and analyzes the effect of government subsidies on the production of enterprises by acting on different types of innovations. Differentiated effects of efficiency. It is found that government subsidies will indeed promote the improvement of enterprise production efficiency. In this process, the mediating effect of basic R&D innovation and technological transformation innovation accounted for the largest proportion of 15% and 27%, but the mediating effect of product R&D innovation is not significant in the impact of government subsidies on the production efficiency of enterprises. Research provides new ideas for the implementation and application of government subsidy policies and efficient production of enterprises.

Research on Coupling Degree and Development Issues of Critical Illness Insurance and Commercial Critical Illness Insurance
    CHEN Hong-guang, PEI Jin-song
    2022 (01):  46-57.
    Abstract ( 227 )   PDF (2031KB) ( 431 )
Based on the micro-panel data of 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country from 2012 to 2019, the analytic hierarchy process is used to construct the critical illness insurance and commercial critical illness insurance rating index system, and then the coupling and coordination model in physics is introduced from the perspective of time series and space. An empirical analysis of the degree of coupling and coordination between critical illness insurance and commercial critical illness insurance found that: The coupling degree of critical illness insurance and commercial critical illness insurance is in the dying phase, and the coupling coordination degree of critical illness insurance and commercial critical illness insurance is increasing year by year. The comprehensive development level of commercial critical illness insurance and commercial critical illness insurance differs greatly in the eastern and western regions. The coupling degree of critical illness insurance and commercial critical illness insurance in most parts of the country is in the dying stage, and there is a problem of imbalance in the coupling coordination between critical illness insurance and commercial critical illness insurance. Therefore, critical illness insurance requires commercial critical illness insurance to complement and link, and it is necessary to continue to focus on the development of commercial critical illness insurance in the western region to achieve coordination and complementarity between the two.

    DING Huang, REN Yang
    2022 (01):  66-74.
    Abstract ( 280 )   PDF (2878KB) ( 668 )
Exploring how to effectively build the rural e-commerce public service system and helping various agricultural production entities and rural e-commerce units to solve the production and marketing dilemma of agricultural and sideline products is a common concern for governments and academic circles. After interpreting of the scientific connotation of the rural e-commerce whole chain service system, based on the analysis framework of the "multi-system logic theory", this paper reveals the functional positioning, interaction mechanism and formation logic of different subjects in this type of service system, and uses the rural e-commerce whole chain service system in Guizhou province, which uses "cloud warehouse of Qian commodity" as the core carrier, as case material, sorting out the construction path and practical effectiveness of the whole chain service system. The study found that the whole chain service system can effectively promote the formation of collective actions in rural e-commerce, effectively bridge the multiple incentive gaps of various related entities, and solve the dilemma of the production and marketing of agricultural and sideline products. This rural e-commerce public service supply model can give local governments at all levels certain policy enlightenment and practical reference.

Relative Deprivation of Parents and Educational Opportunities for Children: Evidence from CFPS
    ZHANG Jie
    2022 (01):  75-88.
    Abstract ( 318 )   PDF (4657KB) ( 846 )
Education is a feasible way to achieve class mobility, and the distribution of educational opportunities is closely related to the relative income level of parents. This article uses the China Family Panel Studies survey data from 2010 to 2016 to examine the effect of parents'relative deprivation on their children's educational opportunities. The research shows that: (1) Parents' relative deprivation has a significant inhibitory effect on their children's educational opportunities; In addition, parents' age, hukou, education, marital status, health status, children's age, hukou, and family education expenditure, family size and other factors all have a significant impact on children's educational attainment; (2) By distinguishing parents' hukou, we find that the parents' relative deprivation on children's educational attainment is significantly negative only when their hukou status is rural, and not significant under the status of non-agricultural hukou; (3) The regression results based on the child's gender sub-sample show that compared with girls, parents'relative deprivation has a slightly greater effect on boys; (4) In terms of children's school age, the effect of parents' relative deprivation on children's educational attainment has a significant "U-shape" as the children's age increases; the impact of parents' relative deprivation on their children's educational attainment is as follows: pre-school stage <higher education stage <high school stage; but not significant in the compulsory stage. Further, use of the PSM method, after considering the selection bias, the conclusion is still robust. Based on these, the corresponding policy implications are given.

Research on the coordinated evolution of economic development and ecological environment of provinces along the Silk Road Economic Belt under the guidance of carbon neutralization
    ZHENG Yu-wen, XUE Wei-xian
    2022 (01):  100-110.
    Abstract ( 233 )   PDF (1968KB) ( 615 )
Under the background of carbon neutralization goal, based on the research horizon of system theory, the synergetic Haken Model is used to measure the synergy between economic development and ecological environment of provinces along the Silk Road Economic Belt from 2011 to 2020, and further take the realization of carbon neutralization goal as the constraint condition, the logistic evolution equation model is used to explore the synergistic evolution trend of the two. The results show that during the study period, the synergy between economic development and ecological environment in 9 provinces along the Silk Road Economic Belt is generally low. The average synergy between economic development and ecological environment in Xinjiang and Shaanxi is greater than 0.5, and the average synergy between economic development and ecological environment in the other 7 provinces is less than 0.5; Further, with the goal of carbon neutralization, adding the constraint of institutional environment, and using logistic equation to predict the collaborative evolution trend of the two, it is found that the synergy between economic development and ecological environment in 9 provinces and regions along the Silk Road Economic Belt has been significantly improved. This shows that the order parameter driving the synergy between economic development and ecological environment of provinces along the Silk Road Economic Belt has changed from comparative advantage to institutional environment. Silk Road Economic Belt one belt, one road initiative, and the new development pattern of China are the important engines for the economic development and ecological environment of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
